A bus ride from Ylivieska to Jyväskylä takes 4.05 to 4.30 hours, and you can come here by evening or in the morning. And the bus ride is cheaper than a train ride, and you can get a 10% discount if you take a return ticket also. Student and youth tickets are cheaper as well.
http://www.matkahuolto.fi is my friend, i’ve travelled a lot by bus so used to tangle with the timetables

And oh, still no news on the new meet place . i hope we gets it!

I’s anyone coming from Oulu or somewhere else near Ylivieska with a car and could give me a ride?

Travelling by train costs like hell and lasts for 5 hours and the bus system is bit of a mystery so this probably is the only way then.

I can be found on irc 24/7 if a ride can arranged.
